The 2024 Hornet has four trim levels and two powertrains. The GT and GT PLUS trims have a 2.0-liter I4 engine that can produce 268 horsepower and 295 lb-ft of torque. The fuel economy for the gas models is 21 MPG in the city, 29 MPG on the interstate, and 24 MPG combined. All-wheel drive and a nine-speed automatic transmission are standard. These models can tow up to 2,000 lbs.

The R/T and R/T PLUS models have a 1.3-liter I4 hybrid engine and a 306-volt lithium-ion battery, which generates a total system output of 288 horsepower and 199 lb-ft of torque. The estimated combined fuel economy for the hybrid Hornet models is 77 MPGe. An all-wheel drive drivetrain and six-speed automatic transmission are standard for the hybrid trims.

GT

The base model has standard features such as LED daytime running lights, LED low-high beams, LED brake lights, heated side mirrors with turn indicators, and delay-off headlights. Features such as manual air conditioning, an air filter, and six-way manual front seats are also standard for this trim.

GT PLUS

The GT PLUS trim comes with 17-inch Silver aluminum wheels, speed-sensitive steering, and a first and second-row sunroof. Heated and ventilated front seats are standard, along with eight-way power-adjustable front seats, a 60/40 rear folding bench seat, a leather steering wheel, and leather seating material.

R/T

The base hybrid trim has 18-inch Grey aluminum wheels, variable intermittent windshield wipers, rain-detecting wipers, dual-zone front air conditioning with an air filter, and a six-way manual front passenger seat. This model also comes with a cloth/leatherette seating material, a vinyl door insert, carpeted floors, a leather steering wheel, and a six-speaker audio system.

R/T PLUS

The R/T PLUS is equipped with a power liftgate, power remote heated side mirrors with integrated turn signals, an express open/close sunroof, and body-colored bumpers. This five-passenger hybrid has heated and ventilated front seats, an eight-way power driver’s seat with four-way power lumbar support, and leather seating material.
