2025 Chrysler Pacifica vs 2025 Toyota Sienna

Chrysler's Pacifica and Toyota's Sienna are longstanding rivals in the shrinking minivan market. They're known to deliver excellent drive quality, spacious interiors, and family-friendly infotainment systems. But how do they compare in 2025, and which one should you go for? Let's investigate how they stack up in several important areas.

Engine Performance

The new Chrysler Pacifica floors the Toyota Sienna when it comes to engine power and performance. Its standard engine is a 3.6-liter V-6, producing 287 horsepower and 262 pound-feet of torque.

Conversely, the 2025 Toyota Sienna runs on a hybrid engine that combines a 2.5-liter four-cylinder gas engine with dual electric motors. This hybrid setup cranks out 245 horsepower and 263 pound-feet of torque.

Cargo Capacity

While the 2025 Chrysler Pacifica and the 2025 Toyota Sienna boast sizeable trunks, the former offers better cargo-hauling capabilities. The Pacifica offers a generous 32.3 cubic feet of cargo space when all seats are in use. Folding down the third-row seats expands the trunk space to 87.5 cubic feet while lowering both the second and third rows boosts the cargo capacity to an impressive 140.5 cubic feet.

In contrast, the 2025 Sienna offers 33.5 cubic feet behind the third row and 75.2 cubic feet of cargo space behind the second row. Lowering the rear seats on both rows provides a total possible cargo capacity of 101 cubic feet.

While the 2025 Toyota Sienna and the Chrysler Pacifica are both formidable minivans, we think the Pacifica offers more value. It not only has a more powerful base engine but also provides greater cargo capacity than the Sienna.
