Trim Levels of the 2023 RAM 1500

The 2023 Ram 1500 comes in seven different trims, with countless options so you can configure your ideal pickup. Beyond the trims, you’ll choose from many appearance and options packages. Review this guide to see which 1500 model meets your needs for work and beyond.

Tradesman

The base model 1500 comes with dual USB ports, a six-speaker stereo, Bluetooth, a rearview camera, and a 5-inch touchscreen. You can also select cloth or vinyl upholstery. The Tradesman is a quad cab truck with a 6’4″ bed.
The base model of this powerful truck comes with a 3.6-liter V6. You’ll get 305 horses and 271 pound-feet of torque. If you want even more power, you can get the 5.7-liter V8 with 410 lb.-ft of torque and 395 hp. You can also select the fuel-saving V6 diesel, which gets 260 hp and 480 lb.-ft of torque. This version is known as the Tradesman HFE. All 1500 powertrains come with an eight-speed automatic transmission.

Big Horn

Selecting the Big Horn model provides access to optional tech and comfort packages. You can update your cabin with an 8.4-inch touchscreen that has smartphone connectivity, heated front seats, front and rear parking sensors, a sunroof, and tons of other features. It has the same standard body style and size as the Tradesman.

Rebel

Standard driver assistance features come standard in the Rebel, including lane departure warning with lane-keep assist, automatic emergency braking, and forward collision warning. This trim also has a larger axle ratio and an electronic locking rear differential. The Rebel is a crew cab with a 5’7″ bed.

Laramie

For the ultimate in entertainment and communication at your fingertips, go with the Laramie. This 1500 comes with a 10-speaker premium stereo as well as an 8.4-inch touchscreen with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity. The Laramie is a crew cab with a 5’7″ bed.

Longhorn

This trim provides a high-end experience with leather upholstery and heated seats throughout the crew cab. The Longhorn also features parking sensors and HD radio. The pickup has a 5’7″ bed.

Limited

The Limited adds rear-cross traffic alert and blind-spot monitoring to the suite of safety features. It’s also equipped with air suspension and wireless device charging. It shares the same body size and style as the Laramie and Longhorn trims.

TRX

This is the only 1500 trim with four-wheel drive and a supercharged V8 engine. The performance-focused TRX also boasts a retuned suspension, an engine cooling system, launch control, and an exclusive chassis. It comes in the crew cab style with a 5’7″ bed.
