Trim Levels of the 2022 Jeep Compass

The Compass has been redesigned for the 2022 model year, and drivers and passengers are sure to love its new look. Over the years, the Compass has been the ideal off-road vehicle, and it has also come with groundbreaking tech features. In 2022, things get taken a step further with several impressive advancements from the interior to the exterior, all of which provide the Compass with a more modern feel. Inside the cabin, the Compass comes with the latest version of the Uconnect system, with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Under the hood, the Compass comes with a tried and true four-cylinder engine that will get you from place to place very quickly. Overall the Compass comes with five available trim levels. Sport

The Jeep Compass starts with the Sport trim, but before talking about the features, let's first inform you about what engine you get! Under the hood of all versions of the Compass is a 2.4-liter four-cylinder that pumps out 177 horsepower and 172 lb-ft of torque. The Compass comes standard with front-wheel-drive, though all-wheel-drive is available. The type of transmission you get depends on whether you go with front-wheel or all-wheel-drive. Those with front-wheel-drive get a six-speed automatic, while all-wheel-drive has a nine-speed automatic, both of which provide you with a smooth ride. Now on to the features! Standard features for the Sport include an 8.4-inch touchscreen with a Uconnect 5 system and wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. This version of the Uconnect has speeds five times faster than the previous version, and it can process three times as much data. The Sport also comes with LED headlights, a USB-A and USB-C port in the front, a USB-A port in the back, cloth seats, and 16-inch alloy wheels.

Latitude

Building on the Sport trim is the Latitude which ups the comfort factor with premium cloth/vinyl seats, a leather shift knob, ambient interior lighting, 17-inch alloy wheels, and automatic headlights. One of the best things about the Latitude is the number of options you can get, that way, you can customize your Compass to your liking. The available options are dual-zone automatic climate control, heated front seats, wireless charging, and a dual-pane sunroof. In addition, you can also get an Altitude package which comes with numerous options such as a gloss black roof. Does the Latitude come with safety items? You bet it does! Standard on the Latitude are things like forward-collision warning, automatic emergency braking with pedestrian/cyclist detection, lane-keep assist, blind-spot monitoring, and a backup camera.

Latitude Lux

For those who want a little more spice, we recommend the Latitude Lux trim. It comes with all the luxury items you could want, such as standard all-wheel-drive, heated front seats, 18-inch wheels, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, and a remote start. Also included is the spectacular 10.1-inch touchscreen!

Trailhawk

Want to do some off-roading? Then check out the Compass Trailhawk! It comes with several advanced off-road features, such as an extra inch of ground clearance and an active low 4x4 system with five available modes, including a brand new Rock mode! Other off-road features for the Trailhawk include hill-descent control, a 30-degree approach angle, an advanced four-wheel-drive system, and off-road tires. The Trailhawk also comes with a rugged appearance package.

Limited

The last trim in the Compass's repetiteur is the Limited, which comes standard with an appearance package with solid chrome accents and 18-inch diamond-cut wheels. Tons of luxury items are here, too, as the Limited also comes with premium leather upholstery, standard dual-zone automatic climate control, a power driver’s seat with lumbar control, and rain-sensing wipers. Later this model year, the Limited will also have a Highway Assist System, which works with the lane-keeping assist and adaptive cruise control.
