The Cunningham Chrysler story began more than 40 years ago, when Ron Cunningham founded Cunningham Chrysler of North East in 1974. His nephew, Craig Chase began his automotive career in 1982, learning the business through sales, finance, and dealership management before becoming a partner when Cunningham Chrysler of Edinboro opened in 1993.

Today, Cunningham's of Edinboro is the oldest Chrysler dealership in Erie County. Craig remained a partner from the dealership's opening until 2020, when the Chase family assumed full ownership and began a new chapter for the store. Now Craig works alongside his children, Ethan and Ellise, who are involved in the day-to-day operation of the dealership and the customer-first experience that comes with it.
