Tough yet stylish, the 2025 RAM 1500 is now here at our dealership, and if you haven’t yet heard about this edition, here are just some of the reasons this popular full-size pickup deserves a closer look.
Strong Engines and Off-road Versatility
Three responsive engines are available among this pickup’s multiple trim levels, starting with a 3.6-liter Pentastar V6 with 305 horsepower, 269 pound-feet of torque, a best-in-class payload capacity of 2,370 pounds, and an 8,110-pound maximum towing capacity. The next engine in the lineup, a 420-horsepower 3.0-liter Hurricane I-6 with 469 pound-feet of torque and a 1,980-pound maximum payload capacity, offers the strongest towing, pulling up to 11,550 pounds.
The third engine is also a 3.0-liter Hurricane I-6 that’s tuned for higher output, generating 540 horses and 521 maximum pound-feet of torque, which translates to a 9,920-pound maximum towing capacity and 1,520-pound maximum payload capacity. Four-wheel drive is available and can be teamed with many other versatility-enhancing options, including an anti-spin differential rear axle.
Comfy Inside and Work-Ready Outside
Standard convenience and comfort interior amenities found in the base model include power front windows with 1-touch up/down, an overhead console, air conditioning, rear-seat heat ducts, and folding bench seats in both the front and rear of the cabin. A front center-seat cushion storage compartment is available, and select upper trims offer optional heated and ventilated front seats with massage, heated rear seats, dual-zone temperature control, power-adjustable pedals, and a leather-wrapped steering wheel.
Outside, the truck is stylish with a wide variety of wheel sizes ranging from 18 to 22 inches and both monotone and two-tone paint color options. Available highlights to make work easier include power trailer tow mirrors, pickup box lighting, a tri-fold tonneau cover, a multi-function tailgate, and the two-bin RamBox Cargo Management System, depending on the trim level. Power heated side mirrors with a power fold-away function and rain-sensitive wipers are also available.
Sophisticated Technology and Safety
This edition’s tech features are also praiseworthy, with the standard Uconnect 5 infotainment system serving as the hub of all the action with its Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatibility, hands-free phone and audio functions, and, in select upper trims, both navigation assistance and a 12-inch full-color touchscreen display. Many trim levels also offer convenient options like a windshield head-up display, a 23-speaker audio system, Connected Travel and Traffic Services, HD Radio, and a wireless charging pad.
Also integrated throughout the truck are plenty of adaptive driver-assist features, including the Active Lane Management System, Electronic Roll Mitigation, Electronic Stability Control, Full-Speed Forward Collision Warning Plus, Trailer Sway Damping, and Adaptive Cruise Control with Stop and Go.
