Trim Levels

The 2022 Ram 1500 has a full range of trim level options for you to choose from, including the Tradesman, Big Horn, Laramie, Rebel, Limited Longhorn, Limited, and TRX. These trim levels have a few body style options depending on which one you choose: a crew cab with a 5-foot-7-inch box or a 6-foot-4-inch box or a quad cab with a 6-foot-4-inch box. The multifunction tailgate option puts a vertical split in your rear door, allowing you to swing it to the side. Add the RamBox cargo system for a lockable storage container in your box's side wall.

Engine

The new Ram 1500 has four engine options. The first is the standard 3.6-liter Pentastar V-6 engine that produces 305 horsepower and 269 pound-feet of torque. This engine has the eTorque mild hybrid system. Next is the 5.7-liter HEMI V-8 engine that pumps out 395 horsepower and 410 pound-feet of torque. This engine comes with or without the eTorque system. The TRX has a 702-horsepower supercharged 6.2-liter V-8 that delivers 650 pound-feet of torque. Also available is a turbocharged 3.0-liter diesel V-6 that outputs 260 horsepower and 480 pound-feet of torque.

Performance

The 2022 Ram 1500 can tow up to 12,750 pounds with the 5.7-liter HEMI V-8 engine with the eTorque system. The Ram gives you access to next-level towing tech, such as the trailer reverse steering control and the 360-degree trailer-view camera. If you're more about hauling cargo in the bed, the new Ram 1500 can handle up to 2,300 pounds. Most of the Ram 1500 models give you the option of upgrading your truck with a four-wheel-drive system — the Rebel comes standard with it. The available four-corner air suspension adjusts your truck's height to improve aerodynamics at higher speeds.

Interior

Find your perfect truck by upgrading up through the Ram 1500's trim levels. Choose the crew cab to get comfortable seating for five passengers. The crew cab offers best-in-class rear-row legroom. The Ram starts with a 5-inch touch screen but upgrades to an 8.4-inch touch screen with smartphone connectivity at the Laramie level. The Laramie is also where you'll find dual-zone automatic climate control, heated and ventilated front seats, and a heated steering wheel. The available 19-speaker Harman Kardon premium audio system changes the way you think about your drives.

Safety Features

Add the blind spot monitoring system to your 2022 Ram 1500 to get a co-pilot-like technology that lets you know when it's safe to change lanes.
