2022 Grand Wagoneer display screens
The Grand Wagoneer will feature up to 75 total inches of display screens. Behind the steering wheel is a 12.3-inch frameless digital driver information display with nearly two dozen menu options. The center stack includes a 12-inch infotainment touchscreen with Uconnect 5C Nav and a 10.25-inch articulating touchscreen to control the four-zone HVAC system. The Obsidian and Series III trim levels come with a 10.25-inch infotainment touchscreen on the dash in front of the passenger seat. Second-row passengers of the Grand Wagoneer have a total of 30 inches of display screens. There is a 10.1-inch touchscreen on each front seatback for entertainment, as well as a 10.25-inch fixed climate control touchscreen on the floor console.
Uconnect 5 infotainment software
Uconnect 5 will operate at speeds up to five times faster than the current Uconnect 4 software and offers a wide range of all-new features. The 12-inch infotainment touchscreen will be fully customizable to allow easy access to the driver's most-used apps. The system can also memorize things like seat and mirror position, music preferences, climate control settings, and more for up to five drivers with the user profiles. Wireless Apple CarPlay/Android Auto provides seamless smartphone integration without the use of wires, maintaining a neat and tidy cabin. Amazon Alexa is also integrated for home-to-car functionality. This allows you to check the weather, continue a to-do list, play music, and more. Amazon Fire TV is available for the rear-seat entertainment screens to access hundreds of thousands of movies, TV shows, and apps. The passenger touchscreen will provide Co-Pilot capabilities like navigation and device management. It also functions as an entertainment control for the rear-seat displays and can access the exterior cameras. Other standard features include Bluetooth connectivity for two enabled devices, 4G LTE WiFi for up to eight devices, voice recognition, TomTom Navigation with over-the-air updates, and more.
2022 Grand Wagoneer driver information display
The driver information display behind the Grand Wagoneer's steering wheel is fully digital and fully customizable. The driver can set the display to suit their needs and preferences with almost 24 menu options. The display defaults to a digital speedometer between analog MPH and RPM gauges. The system can display turn-by-turn navigation, traffic sign recognition, speed limit, current music selection, caller ID, adaptive cruise control, active lane management, blindspot monitoring, and more. The display comes with five configurable tiles to display the most used information, which can be set by the driver and memorized in each of the five user profiles. All of this information can also be projected on the windshield by an available head-up display.
Grand Wagoneer audio systems
The designers of the Grand Wagoneer worked closely with the premium in-home audio experts at McIntosh to create a unique and exquisite audio experience. McIntosh designed two custom sound systems for the Wagoneer lineup. The Grand Wagoneer Series I and Series II come with McIntosh MX950 which is a 19-speaker sound system with a 10-inch subwoofer and a 17-channel 950-watt amplifier. The Obsidian and Series III trims come with MX1375, a 23-speaker system with a 24-channel 1375-watt amplifier and a 12-inch subwoofer. Both systems provide crystal clear sound and coupled with the Grand Wagoneer's sound insulation, the system immerses all occupants in sound.
