Two engines are available for the 2021 Jeep Renegade. The standard engine is a 2.5L I4 engine that provides drivers with 180 horsepower, 175 lb-ft of torque, and 25 MPG. The second engine, a 1.3L turbocharged I4, comes standard under the hood of the Trailhawk trim. This kicks out 177 horsepower and 210 lb-ft of torque while maintaining a combined average of 27 MPG. Front-wheel drive is standard across the Renegade lineup, while four-wheel drive is available. However, the adventurous Trailhawk comes standard with four-wheel drive. Both Renegade engines come linked to a smooth-shifting 9-speed automatic transmission.
