What kind of engine power does the 2021 Jeep Cherokee lineup boast?

Jeep offers three powertrain options for the 2021 Cherokee. The base engine is a 2.4-liter inline-4 that generates up to 171 pound-feet of torque and 180 hp. Drivers can also choose to power their upper trim Cherokee model with two available powertrain options. The first, a 2.0-liter turbocharged inline-4, generates 295 pound-feet of torque and 270 hp. The second available engine is a 3.2-liter V6 that delivers 239 pound-feet of torque and 271 hp. Jeep pairs all the engine options with an automatic 9-speed transmission and while front-wheel drive is standard, four-wheel drive is available.

There are five Cherokee trim levels offered to drivers. The entry-level Latitude model is outfitted with features like rain-sensing windshield wipers, a 6-speaker audio system, roof rails, Apple and Android smartphone integration, split-folding rear seats, a 7-inch touchscreen, and alloy-wheels. The upper trims build on the base trim with features like heated front seats, rear USB ports, keyless entry and ignition, remote engine start, leather upholstery, a power liftgate, panoramic sunroof, a premium sound system. The Trailhawk trim is set apart from the rest of the trims with features like skid plates, all-terrain tires, a locking rear axle, and more.
