2022 Wagoneer vs Chevy Tahoe
There is a lot to love about luxury SUVs, from the potent engine options to the luxury interiors that are filled with all sorts of premium materials and advanced tech. While there are a few of these types of SUVs available on the market today, for our money, there are only two that you need to look at in the 2022 Wagoneer and the Chevy Tahoe. Not only do both of these premium SUVs come with powerful engine options, but the luxury items on these SUVs can't be beat! So the question remains, which of these SUVs outshines the other? For the answer, continue reading below as we go over what each one offers!
2022 Wagoneer Power & Handling
When you lift the hood of the Wagoneer, you're sure to be impressed as it comes with a 5.7-liter V8 that pumps out a massive 392 horsepower and 404 lb-ft of torque and connects to an eight-speed automatic transmission which is smooth no matter where you travel. Towing is no problem for the Wagoneer as it can pull up to an amazing 10,000 pounds! This large SUV comes with some wonderful traction as there are three four-wheel-drive systems available known as the Quadra-Trac I, Quadra-Trac II, and Quadra-Drive II. What's cool about the Quadra-Drive II and the Quadra-Trac II is they come with a Selec-Terrain system, which has five available modes tuned to different driving performances. There is a lot to love about this engine!
2021 Chevy Tahoe Power & Handling
With the Chevy Tahoe, there are a couple of engine options you can choose from. Standard on every trim level is a 5.3-liter V8 that delivers 355 horsepower and 383 lb-ft of torque while paring with an automatic transmission. The top-of-the-line High Country trim provides you with the option of a 6.2-liter V8, while all trims have the option of a diesel-powered and turbocharged 3.0-liter six-cylinder that also comes with an automatic transmission. Four-wheel-drive is an available option on all trim levels. While there is a lot to like about these engines, the Wagoneer is a touch more powerful.
2022 Wagoneer Features & Design
With the Wagoneer, you get a ton of modern-day technologies that are here to impress! There are two premium trim levels available for the Wagoneer. The first, the Series II, comes with a 9-speaker Alpine audio system, tri-zone climate control, Nappa leather bench seats, 22-inch alloy wheels, a front-passenger screen, and a rear-seat entertainment package with dual 10.1-inch rear screens, and Amazon Fire TV for Auto. Also standard is a trailer-tow package, a tri-pane sunroof, parallel and perpendicular parking programs, the 360-degree surround-view camera, and a head-up display. If you're looking for more incredible features, check out the Series III, which adds22-inch wheels and a 19-speaker McIntosh MX950 audio system, a heavy-duty towing package, a tri-pane sunroof, power side steps, the parking-assist programs, the 360-degree camera system, and Intersection Collision Assist, and more!
2021 Chevy Tahoe Features & Design
The Chevy Tahoe has six available trim levels, but the features are a little less impressive. Starting things off is the base LS which gives you LED headlights, 18-inch wheels, Apple CarPlay/Android Auto, and forward collision mitigation. Adding to this is the LT, which has a hands-free liftgate, wireless charging pad, leather upholstery, driver-seat memory settings, and an auto-dimming rearview mirror. If you want more luxury features, the trim for you is the RST which provides drivers and passengers with 22-inch wheels, black exterior trim, and a unique front fascia. Higher trims provide you with more performance-enhanced features, including all-terrain tires, hill descent control, a 10-speaker Bose audio system, heated and ventilated seats, head-up display, rear pedestrian alert system, and a surround-view parking system.
Conclusion:
While there is a lot to love about both of these premium SUVs, we will give the victory to the Wagoneer! We love the Wagoneer's powerful V8 engine and the numerous advanced tech features more than we like the features of the Chevy Tahoe.
